Lance is one of a litter of male Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix puppies turned over to the National Anatolian Shepherd Rescue Network in western Texas.  The puppies were born in May of 2003.  You can read the story of how the litter came into rescue and what happened to them here.  You can see Lance's brother from that litter, Bear, here.
